The big difference there is everyone moving away from having half of the phone as keys, half as the screen and more towards a full-faced design which, while there were some who did it before the iPhone, didn't have nearly the presence in the market as they did in the post-iPhone world.
So this all culminates to a question: Do you all think that phones would all look as they do now (iPhone, Samsung Galaxy, etc.) if the iPhone hadn't come around, or do you think that they would have continued on in the same design style?
IMO, I think that it was an inevitability to move towards the larger screen while removing the keys. If Apple didn't do it, the general move in technology to smaller, sleeker designs would have led to someone in the marketing making the first big move.
Thoughts?
I didn't find the right solution from the Internet.
