Five days at six events, across five different race tracks with 370 cars turning 1,587 laps. It was a race fan’s dream weekend, and I was fortunate to live it.
Last Wednesday night my week kicked off with a special night of racing at Star Speedway in Epping, where the Tri-Track Modified racing series lived up to its reputation of putting on a great show with a 100-lap feature event won by Matt “Big Money” Hirschman.
From there I took the 2 1/2-hour trip to Vermont on Thursday for the final weekly race of the season at Thunder Road Speedbowl in Barre, before returning to Lee USA Speedway on Friday for the Lance Davis Memorial Late Model 50-lap special.
